Updated 26 June 2021

So I was kinda hoping not to have to write one of these again. I know, I know. Wishful thinking.

As per the most recent announcement by the NSW Government made at 2pm 26 June 2021 we have made some quick decisions regarding the upcoming Domina Parties events.
The summary of the announcement is this:
  • The Greater Sydney area – including the Central Coast, Wollongong, and the Blue Mountains – is going into lockdown from 6pm Saturday 26 June until midnight Friday 9 July.
  • All visitors that have been to the Greater Sydney area since 21 June must self-isolate for fourteen days from the date they left the city.
  • The remainder of NSW is subject to the following pertinent restrictions, amongst others:
    • No more than 5 visitors to a private dwelling (including children)
    • Mask-wearing is compulsory at all indoor non-residential settings, including workplaces, and all organised outdoor events
    • Guests are to remain seated at hospitality venues

What this means for you

The Sydney Strap-on & Forced Bi Party, originally planned for Monday 28 June, has been rescheduled for Monday 12 July.
If you have tickets for this event, you have already been sent an email. Please check your inboxes.

The Gold Coast Obey! Dominas Choice Party for Sunday 4 July is currently running as scheduled. The venue is located in the NSW Border Zone currently designated Blue and at this stage there have been no significant directives issued by either the NSW or the QLD government in relation to access.
Masks or face shields will be compulsory for all hosts and attendees. Disposable masks will be available at the venue.

As always, we will update you when we know more.

Stay safe, stay home, wash your fucking hands, wear your fucking masks.
I am looking forward to seeing you all soon so take this much more seriously than Gladys is.

Updated 30 March 2020

One week ago, we made the decision to discontinue Domina Parties events on a case by case basis. Days later, Sex On Premises Venues (SOPVs) were ordered by the Federal Government to cease operation as a part of the response to COVID-19. On Sunday 29 March 2020, the Federal Government recommended that all gatherings of people that do not cohabit be limited to two individuals.

We are staying informed of the local, national, and global progress of this pandemic and will continue to respond as appropriate.

At this point in time Domina Parties events are suspended pending further developments.

Why are the events still live?
We have made the decision to leave all published events live on the website, facebook, and fetlife so that you can continue to be updated by us by going to any of these locations.

I bought a ticket to an event, what does this mean for me?
Our entire world is changing week-by-week. Today we have decided to cancel the events for April. All tickets will be refunded through our ticketing platform TryBooking.com.au. If you hold a ticket to one of these events, you will be receiving an email shortly.
Tickets for events from May onwards will still be viable at this time. Should this change, we will notify you directly.

So, when is the next party?
Your guess is as good as ours. Two things will need to happen for Domina Parties events to run again; gatherings of more than two people must be permitted, and SOPVs must be allowed to reopen. We are playing with some online concepts (mostly for our own amusement) and if they feel like a thing we might just share them.

How can I support my favourite Domina?
Find Her website, social media and more here and then contact Her to find out what She needs. Many of our incredible peers are offering phone and online sessions, long-distance training, amazing clips and more. Details will be in our April newsletter.

At this point in time, Domina Parties Australia events will continue to run.

We value the health and safety of our hosting Dominas as well as our attendees.

We are confident that our standard of best practice hygiene protocols will continue to serve us well, and we are augmenting them with some additional measures to offer the best protection for us all.

We are staying informed of the local, national, and global progress of this pandemic and will continue to respond as appropriate.
